I just wanted to tell everyone that I have news of Paula Marshall. Those of you who have read and loved her books will be glad to know that she is in a nursing home nearer her sons so that they can visit more often. She can still do the Telegraph synonym crossword and talk about old friends, though she cannot answer cards or letters. I now have an address and will pass on any good wishes.
